Who we are
Parslia Kitchen OS provides recipe, menu, allergen, stock, compliance and team tools for professional kitchens. For privacy requests, contact hello@parslia.app.
Information we process
- Account details, such as name, email address, workspace membership and authentication records.
- Kitchen workspace content that you or your team enter or upload, such as recipes, ingredients, menus, supplier and invoice documents, stock and temperature records, staff rotas, notes, photographs and files. This content can contain personal information about staff, suppliers or customers.
- Subscription status and transaction identifiers supplied by Apple. Parslia does not receive full payment-card details from Apple.
- Device, security, diagnostic and usage information needed to operate and protect the service.
- Camera images, documents or microphone/voice content when you deliberately use a feature requiring them and grant device permission.
Optional AI features and third-party processing
When you choose an optional AI feature and give explicit permission in the app, the information needed for that request passes through the Hercules AI Gateway to a third-party AI provider. Providers used for these features include OpenAI for text, voice and image assistance; Replicate for supported image generation; and Google (Veo) for supported video generation. The provider used depends on the feature. Depending on the feature and the content you select, the information sent can include:
- Recipe names, ingredients, quantities, method text, categories, tags, dietary or allergen details and kitchen context for recipe generation, suggestions, images and categorisation.
- Uploaded recipe, delivery or invoice images and document text, including supplier, price, order and contact details visible in those files, for extraction or scanning.
- Voice recordings or transcribed requests, and relevant recipe or workspace context, for voice-assisted features.
- Standard operating procedures, translations, compliance notes or selected operational information for AI assistance.
- Selected kitchen activity or report information for an AI-generated digest when an authorised manager enables that feature.
These categories may include personal data if you put it in a prompt or document. Do not submit another person's personal or confidential information to an AI feature unless you have the necessary authority. AI features are optional. Declining or withdrawing permission blocks future AI requests; non-AI kitchen tools remain available. We do not sell personal information. Purposes and legal bases
We process information to provide the contracted service, verify subscription access, support customers, maintain security, comply with law and improve reliability. We use consent where required for optional AI sharing and you can withdraw it in the app's privacy settings; withdrawal stops future AI submissions, but cannot recall information already processed. Other processing may rely on contract, legitimate interests or legal obligation, as applicable.
Other service providers
Apple processes subscription purchases. Hosting, authentication and communications suppliers process information to operate the service. We use contractual and security safeguards with service providers, but no online system is risk-free.
Customer content
You retain ownership of content you upload and give Parslia the limited permission needed to host, process, back up and display it to provide the service. You are responsible for having permission to upload and share it.
Retention and your rights
We retain information as long as needed for the service, security, legal obligations and disputes. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Contact us at the address above. Children and changes
Parslia Kitchen OS is for professional kitchens and is not directed to children. Material changes to this policy will be posted here.
